Where did you get that boat?
Well ArmoredLooner and I were doing some spring cleaning and I told him he had too many boats. I started threatening some with boots, and that’s the one I was finally able to steal from him to pop. As for where he got it, I asked him and he said he can’t recall. We’ve both been to so many thrift stores, swap meets, and garage sales that it’s easy to lose track. Sorry I couldn’t help :-/
That’s ok. Just thought I would ask.
Hi…
how is the feeling in such ski boots (compared to motocross boots)?
ArmoredLooner owns to much boats? Well, maybe you can use them in your future movies (only playing in them, no pop).
The ski boots are interesting. My first pair. Couldn’t pass them up as they looked so shiny and new at Goodwill (and they were only $25!). In my size as well (11 for any of you who care). My biggest observation vs MX boots is the distinct forward curve in the upper that tends to make you want to fall over forward. I’m sure it makes perfect sense if you’re skiing (just as once-piece motorcycle leathers are contoured for someone riding a bike).
As for ArmoredLooner, he has some boats. More than a few. He’s also here while I’m replying and said to pass along that he likes your work 🙂
Cool! Ski boots are fun for stomping, think even my new ones took some effort to get a lil whale to pop
video with the new camera looks good. Real clear and sharp. It’ll show you and your inflatable victims off to good advantage. Can’t wait to see more of you busting toys dude.
Thanks! I’m still learning the ropes with the camera, but it seems like it’s going to be a nice upgrade from the old tape-based MiniDV cam that I had been using for years. Plus it’s sturdy enough (waterproof and shock resistant) that I won’t feel as nervous doing more outside work with it.
It’s been a while I hope we get to see a lot more inflatable toys make the ultimate sacrifice for Mrmotox’s pleasure real soon.
Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet lately. That car accident I was in almost two years ago? Funny how mental health folk are so cavalier to throw medications at something like that. Also funny (well, actually not so funny) how difficult they are to stop when you no longer need them or when they’re making your life hell. I’ve been trying to avoid, once again, airing too much of my personal laundry on this site, but I’ve been spending the past couple of months in my own little personal hell trying to work with various doctors to get myself back to “normal” and off of this crap. Patience is what they tell me. So patience is what I ask of all of you. I’ll be back, just as good as, or hopefully better than, ever. Soon.
I hope you are having a good summer Mr.MotoX and you are well advanced in your recovery. When you are fit, strong and in your gear no one can destroy inflatables better. Whether you choose to sit ride ’em hard, hump bust the fuck out of ’em or boot stomp ’em to death, you are the undefeated busting champ bro!!
I love the boots! So hard and unforgiving. I still have a pair of my old eyeglasses reserved for your size 11s to have a stompfest with. You and ArmoredLooner could have a contest to see which one of you could do the most damage to them. MX Boots or Ski Boots, lets find out which one is the most efficient lens killer. I’m sure you are both up to the challenge, you guys rock!
Thanks for the destructive props 🙂
Hmmm… never tried stomping glasses, but I’m hardly one to turn down trying something new. Any of you who are on the UKLooners forums know I’ve experimented with stomping some other crunchy things. Maybe once I get past the craziness that’s going on in my personal life right now and feel like I have the time and drive to actively make videos again we can chat 😉
You should get companies to sponsor you and send you stuff with their logo on it to pop. Or get one of the toy manufacturers to sponsor you.
people who only collect their toys aren’t as good for business.
